We are carefully monitor new laws regarding spam and making sure that all press releases sent through our system are legal and that all marketing campaigns are responsible. This will insure that your press releases get through each time.
We have taken the following measures:
Unsubscribe. We now have an unsubscribe button on all emails sent out. If a journalist does not want your press material then we will get a message and pass this on to you to remove them from your campaigns.
Campaign Size. We have introduced a maximum of 500 for all campaigns. You can have multiple campaigns.
We have new measures to monitor the amount of emails sent out by our subscribers. If anyone attempts to send out spam-quantities of emails then we are alerted.
How you can help:
Subscriber co-operation is vital to us in keeping our service clean. Please note the following points:
It is now the law in many countries that you put a postal address on your email press releases.
Remove any journalists from your campaigns if they ask you to.
Add journalists very carefully to your campaigns. There is a real person behind each email address and they don't want irrelevant emails anymore than you or I. Pay special attention when adding regional press - is your event in the area that they cover?
Thank you for your help in keeping arts media contacts spam-free!
